International Investments

Understanding Your Obligations

At Kai Capital, we are committed to guiding our international investors through the complex landscape of global investing. International investments are subject to a range of legal requirements that vary by country, including but not limited to regulatory compliance, tax obligations, and due diligence processes. Here, we outline the key legal requirements and the role of Kai Capital in facilitating compliance:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Investors must adhere to the investment regulations and laws of the host country. This includes securities regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) laws, and any specific requirements related to foreign investment. Kai Capital will provide guidance and assistance in navigating these regulations, ensuring your investment complies with all legal standards.
  • Tax Obligations: Understanding and fulfilling tax obligations in the investment country is crucial. This includes taxes on income, capital gains, and any potential double taxation treaties relevant to your home country. Kai Capital can assist in identifying these obligations and recommend tax advisors specialized in international investment scenarios.
  • Due Diligence Requirements: Conducting thorough due diligence is a legal requirement for international investments. This process includes verifying the legitimacy of the investment opportunity, assessing financial risks, and ensuring the investment does not violate any international sanctions or embargoes. Kai Capital offers due diligence services to ensure a secure investment process.

Associated Fees and Services

Compliance with international legal requirements often incurs additional costs. Kai Capital transparently outlines these costs, ensuring investors are fully informed:

  • Service Fees: Kai Capital charges fees for the provision of specialized services, including regulatory guidance, tax consultation facilitation, and due diligence processes. These fees are determined based on the complexity of the investment and the level of assistance required.
  • Third-Party Expenses: In some cases, external experts such as legal advisors, tax consultants, and due diligence specialists may be necessary. While Kai Capital can facilitate connections to these professionals, their fees are separate and will be the responsibility of the investor.
  • Administrative and Processing Fees: Certain investments may require additional administrative work, including visa applications, property registration, and other legal formalities. Kai Capital will outline any such fees upfront as part of our comprehensive investment support package.

Commitment to Transparency

Kai Capital is dedicated to ensuring our investors have a clear understanding of their legal obligations and the associated costs of international investing. We strive for transparency in all our communications and services, empowering you to make informed decisions about your global investment portfolio.

We at Kai Capital are committed to transparency and partnership with our investors.
